Domain Name Selection Tips:

• Keep it Short.  No one likes a long domain name.  It makes for awkward email addresses, and is easier to mis-type.  Shorter domains are easy to remember.  Keep them memorable, as well, and avoid coined up words.  People can't spell them in order to find you.
• Buy the .com & .net.  If you don't--   likely, you will wind up with a competing business owning the other domain name. Buying the .com & .net is the easiest way to keep people from directly competing for your business on the web.
• Don't Buy the .info, .tv, .biz extensions.  They're wasted money, as few people use these.  .Org's are usually used by non-profit organizations, so if you're in a non-profit, consider the .org first, in addition  to a .com & .net.
